Ch.3 Reflection

In chapter 3 what caught my attention the most was where Paul Farmer worked at. A hospital called Zanmi Lasante, creole for "Partners in Health" and also how generous he was to the Haiti patients. The hospital had a dramatic appearance and complex buildings and tropical greenery around it. This sight could of made the Haiti patients feels more secure and positive on getting help for Farmer. Farmer is very generous by having subverted the policy on paying fees from Haitians. Basically, everyone that saw him for help got the attention and no one got turned away. I think Farmer was a giving doctor who sacrificed many things to his patients and to have accomplished what he has in Haiti.
