Tracy Kidder's assumption
I disagree with Tracy Kidder's assumption that people who actually help make sacrifices. Dr.Farmer was willing to help out others, so he knew what he was getting into. I don't think he was making sacrifices because he loved his job and for him helping out others wasn't a sacrifice, it made him happy how much he was helping out.

I agree with this because Dr.Farmer did in fact love seeing people who are poor get help however in order for him to be happy and help people he has to love what he does, which is his job.
