When one is truly helping and it is coming from the heart, i agree with Dr. Farmer that one has to make sacrifices to actaully call it helping because helping is embedded into your daily life and that may interject on family, friends, social life, job, free time ect. You are sacrificing your time and plans to aid someone else who is in desperate need. You are contributing to a cause that is ususally neglected and when someone is need you cant simply say your help will come when i have time or when i feel like it, it must be done immediately, must be unconditionally.
