Chapter 7 Reflection

In chapter seven of  Mountains Beyond Mountains , it's the beginning of Paul Farmer in Haiti and it is also introducing a person named Ophelia and she happens to be one of Farmer's past girlfriend. It starts off with you learning about Ophelia and how she went to Haiti to impress her father, and she stayed at the Eye Care Haiti. When she is there she shes the only "blan" (white) person until she stumbles upon a new comer named Paul Farmer. During their conversations and adventures you seem to see Farmer in her point of view and she says " he made so many people feel he cared about only them at that moment." Ophelia has money and Farmer has knowledge and together they helped each other, until Ophelia decided to go back to school to become a doctor like him. This chapter was just the beginning of Farmer's and Ophelia's adventure.
