Chapter 5 Reflection

This chapter really made me think about my childhood. It also introduced a side of Farmer that we haven't seen yet. While analyzing and reflecting on this chapter I felt that Farmer, like the rest of his siblings, longed for his father's approval. I feel that this may be the reason he works so hard. He grew up working hard for his father and it translated to his adulthood. I realized that if my childhood was pretty bad why don't I work so hard? Maybe it's because I"m not old enough yet, but this chapter really made me reflect on what I do with my own life.

    I can relate to thinking about my childhood and my relationship with my father in this chapter.

    I personally like reading when an author writes on paper what you feel.
