Who Am I?

Hello and what's up to anyone who is reading this! My name is Joseph Dantay and people usually just call me Joe, I am Filipino and proud to be one. I was born in Quezon City, Philippines where I lived for 5 years until I had to move to Japan. My first language was never English, and I always think that its my worst subject because assimilating to a new culture and language was very difficult for me. Reading or writing are not my specialty, but I hope that I can improve on it through practice and discipline. What I really am good at is Math and Science, to me they are more easier because like a language math and science is a new way to express yourself through numbers and theories that expands the limits of ones brain.
Since I was a kid I was interested in anything, I played many sports like baseball, basketball, football, soccer, paintball, swimming, billiards, and dodge ball, I was a very active kid but I was chubby and fat. During my spare time I play video games with my brother or shoot some hoops outside of my house where I practice my shot and handles (dribbling). As a kid I was very hyper and always pumped, and that led me to break both of my arms, one through due to the monkey bars and the other through playing tackle football.
My dreams for the future is to become an Engineer specifically Aerospace Engineer. After high school, I am hoping to attend a 4 year university, and some of the schools I want to attend are, UCI, UCD, UCSD, SDSU, San Jose State, Arizona State, Berkeley, Stanford, or a Naval Academy. As of now they are aspirations and goals that I want to achieve by doing good in my SAT and ACT scores. For this year I am hoping to improve my vocabulary, reading, and writing so that I can be ready for college! Also adding some more things, I am a very friendly guy, always happy and always smiling, I like the color red and blue, and afraid of any type of reptiles. Well that is all I can say I hope if you read my blog that you will be my new friend :) !

  3. Basketball and aerospace engineering: very nice mix of opportunity. But what causes you to have herpetophobia?
