"...Last name Lamb?"

Well hello there fellow classmates. My name is Kaleigh Lamb (like the animal, yes), a senior this year and a mere 16 years old(not for long!). I'm usually horrible when it comes to introductions, I can't flat out introduce myself and my interests because it just seems awkward.

"Hi I'm Tyara and on the weekends I like to sit at the computer and blog about peple I don't like at school while wishing I was in a romantic relationship with Edward Cullen."

Stating that out in the open I think I'll try my best not to creep anyone out (you get to spend all year with me guys, good luck).

So I used to live in a small town called Lake Placid, New York. It was a well known Winter Olympic town which held the Miracle on Ice (I wouldn't be surprised if none of you know what it is). My family is one of the main founding families of the town, so naturally none of them have ever moved out of the town. We were the first to move out anywhere. I don't intend on going back. We moved out here so my dad could take the job as the Olympic Director of the Chula Vista Training Center.

My personal interests involve movies, writing, sketching, surfing, and Batman. I love watching action, horror, and comedy movies, my favorite movies being Watchmen, Nightmare on Elm Street, and Sucker Punch. I also like the old school Batman series with Adam West and Burt Ward. As cheesy as it sounds, Batman is a role model to me (geekish, I know) because he shows that people can be heroes without having to be born or given special privileges or have special talents. You can work to be a good person or whoever you want to be.

For the future? I want to study Screenwriting and TV/Video Production and go into the film industry as a director. I'm trying my hardest to get into Chapman University, so I'm working very hard on grades and extracurricular activities. I'm also part of the Common Senior Experience group, so if anyone has any ideas, tell me so we can try and get them out there! I hope that we make things fun and interesting, not boring and "lame".

I'll end my novel of an autobiography with a goodbye and hope for a great English class.
